llms.txt generator

Prepare a short introduction to your website with links to selected useful pages. This optional file is intended to help AI tools that choose to read it find relevant information.

An optional proposal, with no guaranteed visibility benefit. Publishing llms.txt does not guarantee AI mentions, citations, indexing or better search rankings. It does not replace useful website content, your sitemap, crawler controls or proper protection of private information.

Build a small, useful reading list

  1. Enter your website or business name and a short, accurate summary.
  2. Add sections such as Services, Helpful guides or About and contact.
  3. Add a few relevant public page links, with brief descriptions. Check every address opens the intended page.
  4. Review the generated text, then copy or download the file if you want to use it.

This generator is provided by Keywords Everywhere. Loading it connects your browser to their service. The provider says generation runs in your browser; use public information only and do not enter confidential details or private access links.

What does this file do?

An llms.txt file is a small text document using Markdown: headings, a summary and links. Think of it as a reading list, rather than a complete copy of your website.

It is not a permission system. Leaving a page out does not make that page private, and adding a link does not override access restrictions. Keep sensitive information behind proper authentication.

The proposal continues to evolve, so check the current guidance before treating a generated file as a final technical specification.

Review before publishing

  1. Check the summary describes what your business actually offers. Remove unsupported claims.
  2. Use only current public links and concise, accurate descriptions. Do not include customer records, private previews or links containing access tokens.
  3. If you already have an llms.txt file, save a copy and review it before replacing anything.
  4. For a whole-site file, ask your website manager to make it available at https://yourbusiness.com/llms.txt, using your real domain. Downloading the file here does not install it on your website.
  5. Open the published address to confirm the text is readable and test the links. Update it when important pages change.

For a small business, accurate service information, clear contact details and helpful pages remain practical priorities. You can explore this file without treating it as an essential launch requirement.
