Website authority checker
Explore the link-related metrics behind a website authority score. Use it as one piece of context when reviewing your website, alongside its content and how well it helps your customers.
This is a third-party score, not a Google rating. Website Authority estimates link strength. It is not a complete website audit, a trust or safety certificate, or a prediction of rankings. Raising the score alone does not guarantee more visitors or enquiries.
Check your domain
- Enter a public domain, such as yourbusiness.com. You do not need to enter a password or give access to your website.
- Select Check WA and review the score alongside the individual metrics.
- If comparing websites, choose businesses serving a similar audience. A small local business does not need the same score as a global publisher.
This embedded tool is provided by Keywords Everywhere. Loading it connects your browser to their service. Use public domains only. Availability and free daily limits are set by the provider.
If the checker does not load, open the Website Authority Checker directly (new tab).
Understand the columns
- Website Authority (WA)
- The provider combines Domain Authority, Open PageRank and followed linking-domain counts into a score from 0 to 100.
- Domain Authority (DA)
- A separate metric from Moz, also scored from 0 to 100. It is an estimate rather than a score issued by Google.
- Page Rank (PR)
- The Open PageRank score, from 0 to 10. This is an independent metric, not a live Google PageRank reading.
- Linking domains
- The number of different domains recorded as linking to the website. It is different from the total number of links.
- Followed linking domains
- A subset of linking domains classified by the provider as having a followed link. This is one input to its combined score.
New website or no data? A missing or low score does not prove your business is untrustworthy or your website is poor. The provider uses stored data, not a live crawl, and newer links or smaller sites may not yet appear.
Choose a useful next step
- Look at the links themselves. Use our backlink checker to explore which pages link to you and whether those links are relevant and accurate.
- Check existing listings. Where genuine partners or directories already list your business, check that your details and website link are correct.
- Make something worth sharing. A clear local guide or an answer to a common customer question can be useful to readers and partners.
Keep a dated note if you want to compare later. Avoid buying links or removing them just to chase a score; investigate the context first. Give priority to accurate information, usable pages and genuine customer needs.
